Mon 4-6PM - Session 4 - Cooking Age 9-15

Service Description

Students will follow a hands-on approach to learning, in which they execute various recipes from start to finish, following instruction from our local instructing chef. Six-week session meets 1 x week. Each class is 2 hours long and covers new lessons and recipes each week. All culinary classes will cover the basics of using kitchen utensils, such as the proper way to measure, pour, cut, slice, stir, melt and peel. Classes will also cover kitchen and food safety, as well as basic cooking and dining etiquette. At the end of each class, students will enjoy eating their creations together as they discuss and reflect on the process they just completed.
