Open Arts Studio Policy Agreement

By registering for any class, camp, or program at Open Arts Studio (OAS), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies, release statements, and dress code requirements.

Tuition & Refunds
Full tuition must be paid at the time of registration to hold your seat.

You may cancel your registration up to two (2) weeks before the class or camp begins for a partial refund, minus a $30 processing fee per class/camp.

Students who withdraw on the same day as the first class may receive a partial refund.

No refunds will be issued after the first class.

There is no option to cancel and receive credit toward future classes.

Missed & Canceled Classes
If an instructor must cancel class due to an emergency and no substitute is available, a make-up class will be scheduled.

Please notify the studio by 9:00 AM if your child is unable to attend camp.

No refunds, credits, or make-ups are available for student absences, including no-shows.

Make-ups are not guaranteed, but may be offered if space allows and the absence is excused.

Behavior Expectations
Respectful behavior is expected at all times.

Students who are disruptive or a continual distraction may be dismissed from class or camp for the day.

If disruptive behavior continues, the student may be permanently dismissed at the discretion of the instructor or OAS staff.

Tuition is non-refundable in such cases.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up
OAS is not responsible for supervising students outside of scheduled class/camp times.

Children should arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before class or 15 minutes before camp.

Parents/guardians must be on time for pick-up at the end of class/camp.

Children will only be released to authorized individuals.

In the Classroom
Cell phones are not allowed in youth classes or camps.

OAS is not responsible for damaged clothing or personal property.

Students should wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing that may get messy.

Dress code requirements:

Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for all students. Athletic shoes are required for cooking and ceramics.

Long hair must be tied back for safety in cooking and pottery classes.

No strapless, midriff, or low-cut shirts.

No clothing with alcohol, tobacco, political messaging, or inappropriate content.

Summer Camps
Summer camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Please ensure campers are dressed according to the studio's dress code and arrive ready to engage.

By registering, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
I release Open Arts Studio from liability for any injuries my child or I may sustain while participating in programs.
