Private Events
At Open Arts Studio, we are happy to offer event services to adult groups! These events are great for Birthday celebrations, Team-building practice, Small company activities, and more! Bring your group and enjoy a day or night of Drawing/Painting, Pottery, or Cooking.
We do not supply any food or refreshments, but you are welcome to bring your own to snack and sip on while participating in your one-time class event. There is a $105 deposit in order to reserve the agreed upon class date and time.
If you would like to bring your own alcoholic beverages, we ask that you procure a Washington State Banquet License, which can be obtained at a rate of $10 per day needed here.

Drawing and Painting Event - $340.00
Choose between drawing or painting for your event, and the theme is up to you. You and your event guests will have a two-hour step-by-step lesson with our teacher. Each guest will look forward to going home with their very own masterpiece!
Cost includes all supplies for 10 students with a 16x20 canvas.
$30 per additional person. Capacity is 18.
Clay and Pottery Event - $350.00
Guests attending the event will make both something on the potter's wheel and a hand-built piece at the table. You can choose your clay projects from our list, including making pots, bowls, vases, masks, animals, and wall pockets, or work with our clay teachers to design a special project of your own.
Due to the process and stages of the clay medium, you have two options for glazing:
1. Each guest will choose a color for glazing, and our staff will glaze the piece accordingly for you.
2. Each group may schedule one hour of Open Studio Time to return as a group within 10 days of the party to glaze their items.
All clay work will be fired and available for pick-up by the party contact person two - three weeks after the event date, depending on the option selected above.
Cost includes all supplies for 6 students. $45 per additional person, capacity is 14.
Cooking Event - $Dependent
Event guests will enjoy learning how to make delicious meals from one of our fine chefs. You will be able to pick from an array of themes for what you want your group to be cooking, and may be able to pick specific dishes when worked out with the instructor beforehand. At the end of your event, your group will share the meals that you have made together as a group!
