Open Arts Studio's clay program teaches many techniques and offers students the opportunity to work with clay in a variety of methods. The slab roller, extruder, molds, hand tools and pottery wheel are among the tools students will become familiar with as they build their creations. All clay classes include experience with the potter's wheel and hand building methods such as pinch pots, coiling, slab building and more. The clay medium is a beautiful, moldable and tactical medium that aids in a child's growth from intellectual to creative processes. Price includes everything from the supplies and clay to the glazes, just come prepared to get a little messy! If you are planning to purchase all 5 sessions at once, please call for a discount code!!
